What this does
Reads each page's text with its position, size and font, rebuilds lines into paragraphs and headings the way you would read them, and writes a real .docx with bold, italic, fonts and page breaks. The result is text you can edit, not pictures of the pages.
Limits
- Images, tables, columns and colours are not carried over: this gets you the text and its structure, to edit or reuse. For an exact visual copy, keep the PDF.
- Scanned PDFs have no text to convert. Run them through OCR PDF first.
- Unusual layouts, like text in several columns or around pictures, may come out in the wrong order.
Is this private?
Yes, and you can check rather than take our word for it. Open your browser's network tab and run the tool: your file never appears in it, because there is no server to send it to. The whole site is static files.
