What this does
Take a photo, or choose some, and each page is found in the picture, straightened as if scanned flat, and cleaned up: shadows lifted to a white page, in grey, black and white, or the original colour. Adjust the corners if the page was not found exactly, put the pages in order, and save one PDF.
Limits
- Finding the page works best with the whole sheet in view on a darker surface. On a white table, set the corners by hand.
- This straightens a flat page. A curled book spine stays curved.
- The PDF is pictures of the pages. To make the text searchable too, run it through OCR PDF.
Is this private?
Yes, and you can check rather than take our word for it. Open your browser's network tab and run the tool: your file never appears in it, because there is no server to send it to. The whole site is static files.
