Display and speed
Uses your browser's speech recognition. In Chrome and Edge your voice is sent to Google's speech service while it listens, and Safari may use Apple's. It is off unless you tick this, and never remembered as on.

What this does
Type or import a script, then read it full screen at a steady words-per-minute pace, with the reading line high on the screen so your eyes stay near the camera. Add sections to jump between, [PAUSE] cues that stop the scroll, and highlights. Control it with taps, a keyboard, a Bluetooth page turner or foot pedal, or your phone. Record camera and microphone while you read; takes are saved on this device.
Limits
- Recordings are saved in this browser's storage on this device. Clearing site data deletes them, so download the takes you want to keep.
- The phone remote needs both devices online. It passes only button presses through a relay run by Supabase, never your script, video or audio.
- Voice-follow uses your browser's speech recognition, which in Chrome and Edge sends your voice to Google while it listens. It is off unless you turn it on.
- Long takes have not yet been tested on every tablet. Try a short take first on a new device.
Is this private?
Yes, and you can check rather than take our word for it. Open your browser's network tab and run the tool: your file never appears in it, because there is no server to send it to. Your scripts and settings are kept in this browser, and recordings in this device's storage. None of it is uploaded. Two things reach outside, and only when you use them: the phone remote passes button presses (play, pause, speed) through a relay run by Supabase, and voice-follow uses your browser's speech service.
